That pitch play they scored on was awful. His knee was clearly down.
Is it me or is he really out there tonight? These refs suck also. How many calls have they missed?

I was thinking the same thing. He is usually dead on with his announcing, but he seems rattled tonight.
cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of war.....
I agree about the pitch, but UT had an interception that wasnt called right either, it goes both ways.

How can anyone be "on" when they have to work with Captain Obvious Dan Fouts?
I swear he is there for color and states the obvious, over and over and over again.

Keith Jackson shouldn't even be there. He retired during the Tennessee national championship game in 98. It is all they harped on the whole game, that they need to have one more good oh nelly before he hung up his mic for good.

Nice one!
I guess I just don't like a lot of announcers. The Bourbon Bowl would had to have been the worst game ever to watch on TV, Musburger and Fouts, thanks, I'll shoot myself now.
Keith Jackson is one of my favorites, why they paired him up with Fouts, I'll never know.
But when VInce Young ran the ball on 4th and 5, Fouts had some comment like, when the game is on the line, you give the ball to this guy and he'll do what's needed. Surely he could have come up with something better.
Keith Jackson did seem kinda lost from time to time...good thing the game was such a classic that it made up for the less than brilliant commentating.
